[Suprisingly] Good experience with RBL CC Network change

TF Ace
Hi everyone,

So I recently got this RBL Shoprite LTF CC (via RBL Offer posted here) which I intend to use only for merchant offers. The card was on mastercard. Just to try the RBI network change thing, I dialed up customer support and contrary to popular belief it was a seemless process. They took my request and I could see the RuPay card on App the second day. All my unbilled Txn were visible confirming it's not a new Card (acct). Customer support confirmed that everything related to card will remain same including the Fee.

RBL Shoprite is on RuPay Select (I think) but no Wellness benefit I suppose.

The reason I created a post is I didn't expect the process to be this simple and smooth and that too from RBL bank. Credit where it's due.

Edit: See the link below for all possible network changes

Thanks,
dvader

Mine was too changed from RBL IOCL xtra visa to rupay
Without much hassle
Recieved the card in 4 days

So far so good with RBL

Is it very easy. Where do u get stuck
I select exiting customer flow, then select credit card information option, enter DOB, then it gives option to use chat-bot or IVR. If I select chat-bot, it sends sms link & ends call, if I select IVR, there is no relevant option to change network (only 2-3 irrelevant options). Never gives an option to talk to a rep.

Btw, which Rupay variant do we get? Is it the JCB variant?

Placed a MC to Rupay conversion request on 12th August on my RBL xtra card. Today got this annual fee reversal message..
What could be the reason for this reversal?

Just 4 months old card. Fee waiver criteria not fulfilled yet.

Did they make it ltf?
Call again and ask if the card is ltf now

there maybe closed account from switching to rupay.
Closed account also checked, no RBL card account there. Cibil Refreshed today only.

In the RBL app initially for about 30-40 days it was showing 2 active cards but since last 10-15 days it is showing only single active card.

Edit: Date opened (16-June) reflecting as approval/ generation date of first card. Wheres current card applied 4 days later probably on 20th after delivery of first card. So, basically cibil account is merged account just like upgraded account with single cibil account. @BeingIncog

Edit (22-Aug): On 22 Aug new account added in Cibil as closed RBL Card account.
