Hi,

Please suggest a best card for NPS and Insurance spends(total 65k). I have SCB Ultimate, Regalia and AU Zenith. Also I am 1L away from achieving the regalia yearly milestone - 5L, which gives me additional 10K points. NPS transactions are covered in milestone benefit for regalia?. i am confused in which card to use for my spends.

You can buy instant voucher from smartbuy gfytr and pay insurance using amazon gv (reward rate is 5x for regalia). Remember to buy amazon not amazon shopping voucher.

For NPS, i guess it charges nears 1% extra with credit card so any card having greater than than is benefit and then pay cc bill with hdfc billpay or mobikwik and get 1% back.

Edit - most credit card does not allow reward point for govt related transaction like NPS so dont use regalia for that. Best would be either axis flipkart 1.5% cashback or ace 2%.

I don't have ace card, but SCB ultimate gives 2% for government transaction. So net reward points - 1% and I can pay credit card bill via HDFC get 1% back again. My question is nps transactions are considered under milestone benefits for HDFC regalia?

Quoting from Terms and condition:
9. With effect from 1st Jan’23, a. Reward points will not be accrued for rental pay transactions, property management services like rent, maintenance, packers &movers, etc and government transactions

so yeah, no RP for NPS.
