Slice credit card (invite only)

You are totally not aware of what is happening nowadays in the banking industry. No such restrictions. Near Total freedom in all operational issues.

Slice is damn slow. Need to ramp up.
True sir. Slice is too slow at this moment. Instead of spending money in launching their new(and fairly unattractive) credit card they should have done some branch network expansion first. Atleast 1 branch in each metrocity/zone would have distributed their workload evenly and speedup the whole process.

I was thinking if i get their cheque book where i will be able to redeem that. There is no slice branch in my state.
Slice chequebook is still useful to write cheques to other people. We will keep getting daily interest until that other person encashes our cheque in their bank.

In the 'credit' tab (4th tab from right in the tabs shown at the bottom in main UI). You'll have two options now. The top half shows option to join the waitlist, once you click join, it'll show that your in the waitlist now. And the bottom half shows borrow option which is purely optional.

Once you've joined the waitlist and clicks on the 'you're on the waitlist', you'll get the below shown page 'You’re next in line'.
Finally, got the option to apply (after entering the waitlist part) for the card on 11th Aug.
Applied on 12th n got approved instantly with 2.88 L limit. Received physical card on 15th Aug.

Card looks pinkish(as others posted) similar to their debit card. They should've atleast used some AI designs instead of this complete plain front look.

Anyhow, it's mostly usefull for <100 transactions or rounding transactions like 140/180 etc where even Kiwi is not proper.
Waiting for the mentioned "SLICE spark" to see the major SPARK of this card.

joined the waitlist on july 24...still in the waitlist..🙄

I am also in wait list.
Guys are you get any wait list number. ?
I have no wait list number
There was no number in the waitlist. I used to check twice or thrice in a week and noticed that waitlist part changed to apply page one fine day. Took more than 15 days to change from waitlist to actual invite.

I got the response from slice
This was expected from slice. Nothing new. All banks try to onboard NTB customers earlier more than ETB customers. They want to increase their database of new customers as soon as possible. They already have fair enough data of old customers (who used slice borrow) and know their spending patterns. Same like how people with no prior relationship with HDFC were given LTF cards with good limit but the existing customers still struggle to upgrade their limit/card. We can just wait patiently at this point.

Its attractive for small transaction as we are rewarded in monies (100% as monies in base tier).
Only problem is that slice UPI app doesn't recognise few qr codes(even for normal trxns) for using rupay card
It gives 1% for small txns. There are other UPI apps that give better with payment source (bank/cc). So, it would be useful only if the two can be combined as double dip. And for that, we need slice CC to be working with other UPI apps.
