Should I Close HDFC Moneyback Plus Credit Card?

Hey fellow credit card users! I'm considering closing my HDFC Moneyback Plus Credit Card and I'd love your thoughts. Here's my current credit card portfolio:

- Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card (Lifetime Free)
- Axis Airtel RuPay Credit Card (Paid)
- HDFC Swiggy Credit Card (Lifetime Free)
- SBI SimplyCLICK Credit Card (Paid)
- HDFC Moneyback Plus Credit Card (Paid)

I'm thinking of closing HDFC Moneyback Plus since I have other cards that offer better benefits. But before I make a decision, I'd like to hear from you:

- Do you think I should keep HDFC Moneyback Plus for credit score diversity?
- Are there any benefits I'm missing out on by closing this card?
- Would closing this card impact my credit utilization ratio significantly?

Let me know your thoughts on this.

1. keep it not for diversity, all are credit cards (unsecured) which means single category, there is no diversity in ur cards.. but keep the card or upgrade to millennia because its core card again not for diversity and u dont have diversity.. and u dont need diversity too.

2. as mentioned core card works for bank offers.. try to upgrade millennia if possible

3. that depends on ur card limits and amount u spent

You might consider closing your HDFC Moneyback Plus card if its benefits (cashback, rewards) no longer align with your spending habits, if you have better alternatives offering superior value, or if you're looking to simplify your finances and reduce the number of cards you manage. However, be mindful of potential impacts on your credit score from closing an older account.
