SC Ultimate (Standard Chartered Ultimate) Upgrade Suggestion

Hello!!!

Recently I have been receiving calls to upgrade my Manhattan Card to Ultimate card. My Manhattan card is free and the Ultimate would cost Rs. 5000 plus taxes every year. Here they are offering 5000 reward points on every renewal without any conditions. So effectively the card costs me Rs. 900 approx. Now my query is should I go for it? Right now I have decent number of cards. Don't have too much utility expenses. Use my Infinia for offline shopping and SBI Cashback for Online. Please suggest if it's worth to pay fee for SC Ultimate?

Total bills payments are reported and not the card usage

all credits except refunds and reversals are reported....

So refunds are not reported unlike axis which reports refunds and reversals also. If you do emi transaction in axis it gets reported as twice credit, once when emi gets converted and once on payment

What do you mean by "when emi gets converted"... haven't done any emi transaction so not aware about process flow.

When we do online emi transaction or convert a transaction to emi on conversion they credit whole transaction amount and debit processing fee, gst, first month principal and interest along with gst on it

ok...ideally these should not be included and i don't think they're..but cannot tell for sure since never tried an emi transaction..

at M R P.. not worth it, it comes around 0.70p for it when compare with amzn or fk prices.
