SBI no limit enhancement/ transfer of limit

I had got SBI cash back card with only 10k limit, while I have another SBI card with 363k limit. I have asked the customer care to enhance or transfer the limit. Every time, they have denied that you are not eligible to enhancement nor transfer of limit is allowed between the card. Any option to enhance the limit on SBI cashback card?

Transfer of limit has been discontinued few months back. You can try mailing SBI along with your salary slips/ITR and request them for limit increase

It’s SBI Cashback, they might actually close it rather than increasing the limit.

On a separate note there is another thread where SBI has reduced the limits of number of people due to technical glitch.

It’s SBI Cashback, they might actually close it rather than increasing the limit.

let them close anyways you have a meagre 15k limit
and agents do everything they can to retain customers

I did that with a simplyclick card. same 10k limit, he said he can't increase the limit. this is after I asked twice for increase, first one month after card and 2nd 7 months after card issue (they asked me to try again in 6 months). They eventually said can't increase the limit and closed the card. Ironically I applied for cashback card again after a year or so and then they give a limit of 3.1L

SBI Limit Split Still Possible

As mentioned on the forum earlier too, SBI stopped taking requests for changing the limit split between cards. Today I called SBI for something and just asked them casually if they can help me move some limit from my simplyclick to cashback card and they just did it. So its still possible.

Yes.... I was asked the limit to be transfered to SBI CB from BPCL

Quite strange.. I asked to do it, they clearly denied that as per policy this can't be done. I have tried multiple times, same response.
