The manager showed me the computer screen. There was no code available starting with 1029-15 in the drop down menu. He didn't have the code for Rhodium account. Can you please recheck. Also is the customer type code 010222 only? @Snikhil29 @Somil3187 @MrWick @Random123

It was zz others instead of SBOD. Maybe the manager seemed to know where 1581 was hidden and he was just playing with me. At last he took pity on me on my third visit today and finally changed it to 1581

They stated this is personal banking branch, I've to visit general branch.

Never knew SBI has personal banking branch too. And if it's personal banking, didn't understand why they're not taking debit card request who has salary account in SBI.

Any thoughts?

Account code can only be changed by Home Branch. If your account is not in desired CSP type, then only home Branch can convert it to particular CSP type

SBI bank employees wasn't aware of such debit card in the personal banking branch I went, as they simply stated raise request for debit card online or go to general bank; this is personal banking branch and debit card request is not taken by us.
whom should I contact after visiting the branch?

Thanks to inputs from @Abhishek012 and @MrWick, I got both the sbi rupay select debit cards - platinum and rhodium. Bin for both of them is 6524. Sbi is also giving matching covers 😁

@MrWick 1- have ac with sbi and if salary between 20-25k what type of csp vatient will be available with debit card. 2- brother hold csp varient account but not opted for dc his salary between 50--60k in bank ac and has loan ac with sbi. What kind of dc will be available for brother?

Bank team from your branch must be good people... They upgraded account twice... Can you tell the complete process.. is this branch in NCR?
