Common sense bro if bank offer online account open then obviously bank will offer you online bank account close option or via email.

yes, that's an option too but there's a different story ongoing for PNB debit card, I do have PNB RuPay Platinum DC and looking to get RuPay Select DC too from them. According to bank official at my branch, I was told no 2 separate variants can be active at the same time (which I doubt) and I compulsorily need to get RuPay Platinum DC hotlisted and get RuPay Select DC. That's why I got RuPay Platinum DC in my mother's PNB account and waiting to apply for RuPay Select DC once my QAB reaches Rs. 50k as I was unable to apply for RuPay Select DC because QAB was lower than Rs. 50k.

what you've mentioned is a good trick actually, I did have that in my mind and will try for it if I need more RuPay Platinum DCs. One question though, add-on cards are charged or FREE like credit cards?
