SBI should come up with some new/unique names for card. Gold, silver, platinum are too old and also conflict the name with rupay platinum.

Instead of rhodium, could have picked up uranium, plutonium 😝😝

TOday sbi staff told me that system is not allowing to apply select debit card in my account. He dont know reason.
I think May be due to:-
1) i already have rupay platinim debit card
2) card is not live to apply
3) my normal saving account is not eligible.
Anyone here applied ??

If you already have two debit cards you need to close one permanently.
If you have platinum variant account you might be able to apply. Ask the officer what variant is required for it?
Please also share the info you get

what are the charges of SBI RuPay Platinum DC you're holding? I've a Visa Classic with Rs. 150 + 18% GST and would like to get it changed with a useful DC variant or ask for FREE virtual DC and get the physical card closed altogether but from what I know, SBI doesn't offer virtual DC.

you will get 20% upto 100 on mobile recharge/utility bill pay per month on Amazon

Ya but if you have monthly mobile recharge or electricity bill, water bill, DTH, gas, lpg or other utility bills then this is the best card, Rs100 save per month.

you can also combined your electricity etc bill with Amazon gv + RuPay Platinum DC.

Suppose your electricity bill amount is Rs1200, add Rs700 amazon gv and pay rest of the amount through RuPay Platinum DC and get Rs100 off.

OK then apply for SBI Global RuPay NCMC debit card or SBI IOCL Global RuPay debit card from SBI net banking.
