SBI Cashback credit card official benefits revised w.e.f. 1st May 2023

REVISION OF BENEFITS ON CASHBACK SBI CARD:

With effect from 01 May 2023, following changes will be applicable on your CASHBACK SBI Card:

A. Below categories will not be eligible for Cashback benefit, apart from existing exclusions:

Jewelry	5051, 5094, 5944, 7631
School & Educational Services	5111, 5192, 5942, 5943, 8211, 8220, 8241, 8244, 8249, 8299, 8351
Utilities	4814, 4900, 9399, 4816, 4899
Insurance Services	5960, 6300, 6381
Card, Gift, Novelty & Souvenir Shops	5947
Member Financial Institution/Quasi Cash	6011, 6012, 6051
Railways	4011, 4112

The Merchant Category Codes are defined by the Networks and are subjected to change basis their discretion and such changes shall be implemented basis communication from the Networks without any requirement for intimation/information to the customers.

B. Maximum Cashback that can be earned on online & offline spends in a statement cycle will be capped at `5000.

C. Complimentary Domestic Airport Lounge benefit will be discontinued.

If yes, then you'll automatically get 5% cashback using Grabdeals woohoo.

Otherwise, Only 7% instant discount can be availed. And extra cashback would be credited as per your card's condition for other spends.

Haan wo obviously leave krke stable/reliable bank ki taraf jayenge. HDFC & ICICI better option hai banking terms me as compared to Axis.

But usse zyada fark ni padega Axis ki books me.

I don't use SBI CB card for this..
I use Grabdeals usign Aixs...
7%+5%( duringa monthly sale period) +1%(rewards for my Previlige Card) = ~13% .. This the best deal iI have know on Swiggy vouchers.. Loaded up 20K in recent sale period (June 21- 26)

Axis ke kede makode kya hi karege,

Discount ki Safayi Swiggy ne ki.

Swiggy ke GV se Discount nhi remove karege toh inka HDFC Swiggy Card Trend kaise karega .

Now All websites reduced the Discount to 2-3 taka

Only one App is still there which is giving 1+1+1+1+1 taka instant discount

Now, they came in line with the market.. Well all this is on expected lines....
I have loaded up about 20K which will be enough for 3 to 4 months... I said this many times before.

Now, we need to wait for this Swiggy card frenzy to be over, the market will stabilize and GV vouchers will be more attractive again then.. IMHO.

You should've been real quick if you find out that other apps are providing same GV for less discount, then it'll happen here anytime soon. Maybe you weren't aware about that.
