RuPay Select Debit Card Portfolio

I asked to apply add on in pnb, he was like not allowed,
I showed guideline on their own website stating 2 add ons allowed,
Still he's arguing not allowed we have our own circular.
After some calls, he understood add on can be applied. Again he was like why u need another card? Whats ur purpose? R u trying to loot insurance of 10L+10L+10L?
I was like wtf, only one card is eligible for insurance from any bank ,i just need multiple cards for rupay select vouchers.

So basically he's thinking me as scammer/fraudster because I'm asking services out of his knowledge.
So every psu i visit either arguments will go on or complaints will do work. My timing has been worst to say the least.

Union, cboi, ka tho alag level story hai. Now dealing with canara and pnb sadly

If you open the account online, you will have to submit a KYC form / signature job card (along with self attested Aadhar and PAN) at branch since your signature and/or your photo won't be uploaded in Finacle CBS. As debit cards currently can only be applied via branch (as of now) the deposit officer won't approve if he/she can't see your signature in the system. For hassle free experience make sure you keep atleast min balance (500 for Rural/SU, 1000 for Urban/Metro) + 944 in your account and write explicitly Rupay select card in the form. Won't take longer than 5-10 mins if everything goes alright.

Then why r they taking signature in the vkyc bro?

This is actually true. For my canara online account also, branch executive said signature not there in account.
She gave specimen signature card to stick photo and do signature.

For online account, we can apply dc at branch without much hassle right?

It's a technical glitch that the frontdesk employees are mostly unaware of. Not everything is intended to be malicious.

For the 2nd question refer to my previous post. I have explained it there.

Any way to disable sms alerts if i go for offline account opening?

U mentioned this, thats y asking again.

SMS alerts can be disabled during AC opening, just verbally mention it to the staff opening your account i.e. the one asking you the OTP. Also make sure not to apply the debit card during AC opening because that will issue the default Rupay NCMC card.

Yes, that's correct. So apply RSDC separately after the AC is opened and funding the account, preferably the next day or later in the day (ask the concerned officer regarding this).
