You can have all the same cards, meaning you can have 3 RSDC in one account. The issuance fee is zero for all RSDC, which means FYF and the annual fee is ₹1,180. (Actually, if you don't use the account, just close it right before the card's renewal, for free cards.)

Yes, this only applies if you have multiple cards from the same bank (you have to create a different "rupay" account login each time you want to add a new card from the same bank). And if you possess even 10 cards but from different banks then you can put all of them into 1 account login (no need of changing email ID or phone numbers to make that work).
