RuPay JCB card - 25% Cashback on Japan, Singapore, Indonesia & Philippines

I have Bank of Baroda Easy Credit Card and Kotak League Credit Card. Both are rupay JCB. Does they have zero forex charges? How can I get SBI Platinum JCB debit card?

@Abhishek012 sir, how do you know that your card is a Global variant card?

  1. Been reading this term for a while now from you posts, I have the BOB RUPAY JCB Premier cc, how do I identify it's variant?
  2. Secondly, in of the previous threads, I read doing an transaction to emi is not possible with bob premier rupay JCB, can you please confirm?
  3. Also, is the RUPAY JCB BOB Premier eligible for the Loungekey access?
  4. Lastly, how does the cashback get credited? for eg I do a post swipe of 100 yen, then 25% comes back
    • there itself?
    • debits full amount on the pos but the next day gets adjusted automatically?
    • it gets calculated automatically and reflected when the bill gets generated
    • or nothing happens we have to do the claim all manually by ourself?
thankyou! had these in my mind, i would appreciate if you could clarify as last year due to one of your proactive posts I applied for bob rupay JCB seeing your post only abhishek bhai, but unfortunately the card couldn't arrive in time before my departure and I didn't have it with me in-person, and even though I was using tap and pay everywhere in south east asian countries, but unfortunately gpay didn't let it set the RUPAY JCB BOB PREMIER to tap and pay idk for what reason (do you know why? does any other app let it to set?) making me stuck for not having it me in person but delivered back at home so missed the opportunity, and I have an upcoming work trip where I'd like to male use of the opportunity and answer to these doubts would help me ...

Amazon, Flipkart now support BOB RuPay JCB Credit Card EMI and No-Cost EMI.

Loungekey service now discontinued

25% cashback offer now over, Next time when an offer comes, we will discuss it because a new offer will come with new t&c.

Last year, GPay announced they will soon support RuPay cards for Tap & Pay. Hopefully, this will go live on GPay before the end of the year.

Got it about the RuPay JCB being a global variant and the EMI updates. Also, noted on the LoungeKey and cashback offer changes.

Just trying to understand how those things worked back at the time of the offer., if you remember: how exactly did it get credited?

A quick follow-up on that old 25% cashback offer back then,
Did the:
  • 25% comes back there itself?
  • or it debits full amount on the pos but the next day gets adjusted automatically?
  • if not then does it gets calculated automatically and reflected when the bill gets generated
  • or nothing happens we have to do the claim all manually by ourself?

Anybody able to receive this highly advertised 25% cashback ? Last time I read some post everybody was complaining regarding this scam of JCB that after doing the transaction they never received the cashback. Please enlighten me.
