RUPAY card International lounge

Hello All, this is my recent experience about using Rupay Platinum Pnb card in Vienna for the lounge for free access. I specially wanted to test it, I asked if they accept diners? She said yes. I gave my card and I was allowed a free entry.

Now the interesting part is I checked the list of International lounge offered by Rupay and Vienna is not even in list. So I am still wondering how did it work 🤔. As any one else tried Rupay International lounge access?

I have tata neu hdfc RuPay and PNB select RuPay cc. It is having free international lounge access as per bank but how to check it’s still having free access. Can I directly swipe in any RuPay acceptable lounges

Is there still a problem using Diners or Discover Rupay credit or debit cards at international lounges?

I used this card (PNB Rupay Platinum) to get access to the lounge at the LHR. I was able to use it just by swiping the card without any issues.
surprisingly, when they tried to add a guest to my card the system was asking to pay 27$.

Has anyone used the card for their guest? Or do they need an Add-on card under their name to access the lounge?

Did you register your account at Diner Clubs or Priority Pass before using it in the International Lounge?

Last year I used in Singapore and Bali, Indonesia through BOB select card.. Just gave them card they swiped it(not sure which machine) but it was done without any pin required. there is no transaction showing in bank account as well.

The chip on the card is all they need. The information is exchanged and you got access to those lounges.

Yes they provide... Lounge list is mentioned in their website... Directly swipe the card no need of priority pass or dreamfolks card...

No need of priority pass, but we can verify the number of lounge access remaining how many used via priority pass

Rupay cards are not backed by dreamfolks .
You have to register in priority pass .
You can download the app from store and register it using your card .
Amount 1Usd will deducted but it will be refunded after some days .

I am not seeing any information about lounges in PP app. I had registered on it with PP got with Axis Magnus 2 years back. It is also not showing any card information. How to use it. any pointers pleas

You have to register with new email id , you can't use old account.
Each account can have only 1 card .
Last year i registered my canara debit card and pnb credit card with individual login .

And yes , no physical card, only digital card .

Thanks for detailed response. It is difficult to create multiple PP logins/accounts with different email ids and then maintain . Like dreamfolks we should be able to add multiple cards in single account. Based on https://www.technofino.in/community...ntary-access-are-left-on-priority-pass.17064/ I understand, there is issue with PP if we register with Axis magnus.
