Few Question
1) Can we book with avios for others ?
2) How can we check availibility of partner airlines? I tried for cathay pacific, it allowed me to select flight then taken service request, and after 5 days replied that said seat is not available. Is there simple way to know availibility and taxes required to pay ?

Partner airline bookings online are sometimes not available or phantom spaces. Best to book via call. Cathay is notorious in not releasing award space to partners especially for premium cabins

Hi, how much taxes Cathay charges if booked through Qatar? I can only see the avios requirement for BLR-HKG but not the taxes
