Regarding icici wealth account

recently 3days back i opened icici wealth account and debit card also issued.

i already have one icici savings account and i linked new wealth account to old account mobile number

i already asked CC abt the same they said u can use both accounts.

QUERY IS after linking wealth account still imobile showing MAROON Colour not showing the black theme ?

any one faced the same issue or it takes time to convert to wealth ( two icici accounts showing on IMOBILE APP )

My Account is Salary account (Wealth account), yesterday i got mail saying i have to maintain MAB of 25,000.

When i check with Customer care they told me that there is an issue their end, they will resolve with in 24 hours, if they not resolved then we need to call our RM and ask them to change it to old account state.

please check your RM, if you receive any mails or if any changes in your account recently even though your account is salary / wealth account.

the banner is still wealth account.

Same thing happened with me, somehow my account got converted to silver savings from salary. You can update your employer from imobile app. My account again became 0MAB within few hours

did you know the reason for this - any idea. why it has been converted from salary account to normal savings account.

i am using this account for last 10 years, suddenly degraded to normal account. i can changes to salary account either through RM or the steps you mentioned. but i need to know the reason why it has been degraded, so that i could avoid the same in future..

No. Even they dont know. I asked rm and customer care, no one knows.
I emailed wealth management and they asked me to visit branch for further query. One customer care executive told me to update employer once and it should fix it

The same for me as well. no body knows what is the reason.

Now i got resolved the issues, just raise SR from mobile app.

Ok so here is one update to share - Although my account MAB is showing 25k, theme is not changed yet - its still black - may be because of my existing credit card portfolio which is 6.5 lakh limit (and I suspect it was the reason my account was auto upgraded to black one) - But my wife's account which I linked using family banking turned back to Red one with 25k MAB

Visited branch for account closing, RM said he will upgrade my account to some variant (he will send me leaflet - then i will share details here) and then it will be zero MAB - basis of my existing card portfolio only - as per him, benefits are not equal to wealth (I dont know what are benefits in wealth also) but charges are zero just like wealth

I will update here as soon as I get more info on that

Did you ask him about the charges for the wealth dc? As somebody reported above that it was charged after he got downgraded.

I specifically asked about DC charges / SMS charges / MAB charges - he said there is no charge at all

If require, i will change my debit card according to account variant - waise bhi debit card is not too attractive in rewards like indus or RBL

He might probably enroll you for Privilege Banking Program; maybe based on your CC limit.

This program is similar to Hdfc classic does not have sms, Mab charges. Dc charges are waived off for Titanium/ Family Dc
