RBL is now giving away LTF World Safari/ICON from Shoprite if you are upgraded from Zomato Edition

Hello Guys,

One big news I wanted to share with all of you.
Currently RBL is upgrading LTF Shoprite to LTF World Safari if you got LTF Shoprite from Zomato Edition.

Whoever has it, just call RBL & say that the Reward Rate is very poor with Shoprite & I don't want to continue with it.
Also ask if there is any upgrade offer for World Safari/ICON.
Based on your profile there is 99% probability that you will be offered either one of them. Many people has got it.

what are other unwanted cards on your list?

1. ICICI Coral (LTF)
2. IndusInd Iconia (Amex variant) (LTF)
3. HSBC Platinum (LTF)
4. Stan Chart Manhattan - I managed to get fees waived off by raising cancellation requests every year up until now.
5. StanChart Easemytrip - No plan to use it or activate it, just got to waive off my Manhattan card's fees this year, as CC put that as condition for fee waiver.

Managed to close first 3 so far along with RBL Icon.

Manhattan will be auto closed after 35 days since I took Easemytrip as an upgrade. Will close Easymytrip after that.

did they close your icon card?
they should upgrade the icon to world safari as the icon card was already LTF.

Not always. I have experience of free PP usage at domestic lounge for a different card. But not sure about World Safari.

The Visa/MC lounges are crowded and poor in food quality. Some premium domestic lounges are there which only accepts PP.

As mentio ed by SouvikDey above, quote them the RBI rules which prevent banks from mis selling. Also, inform them of your intention to contact RBI ombudsman with your proof.
