Hi everyone,
I wanted to get your thoughts on a situation I faced recently with Amazon Pay ICICI credit card cashback on ISHOP.
I made two transactions in February and, like many others, didn’t receive the promised cashback. I followed up with over 20 emails across three months, but kept getting copy-pasted responses with no resolution.
Finally, frustrated, I lodged a formal complaint on August 8th and attached all my email threads. After that, they credited the cashback to my card and asked me to confirm closure of the request.
Now I’m wondering — should I ask for compensation for the delay and the effort I had to put in? If yes, what would be a reasonable amount to ask for?
Would love to hear if anyone has had similar experiences and how you handled it.
