Infinia Query on HDFC Infinia vs HDFC Diners Black Metal Reward

Everyone is chasing Infinia, I just wondered how better it is from Diners Black Metal. Here is my working. Please correct if wrong-
1. Less than Rs.8lacs annual spend, it doesn't need much calculation as Diners Metal will attract annual fees without any reward whereas Infinia effectively only GST is paid as one gets 12500 points on renewal fees.
2. 8lacs spend with Diners meeting milestone in 2 quarters and 20k per month on vouchers- Diners 62k (24k on 3x vouchers+18k on remaining spend+20k milestone vs Infinia 58k( 40k on 5x vouchers+ 18k on remaining spend)
3. If spend on 5x vouchers is 30k per month, it is equal 66666 points

So basic equation is if meeting Diners milestone in atleast 2 quarters and 5x vouchers spend is less than 30k per month, Diners gives better return than Infinia. Difference get more in favor of Diners if milestones are met in more quarters or Infinia 5x voucher spend gets lower.
So in many conditions Diners Metal can be more rewarding than Infinia.
Yes of course there is major issue of acceptability of Diners so will need to have atleast one major card alongwith Diners.
Feedback if I have got any numbers wrong here.

My diners black (LTF plastic) is expiring soon. Will they send LTF HDFC black plastic again? Reason I am asking is that plastic card is not shown now in their cards list. Or will they send Metal card and make it chargeable? If yes, is there any way to keep it LTF?

Hi. I’m currently using Diners Club Privilege LTF, with credit limit of 11 lakhs and past 6 months spend of 9+ lakhs. I’m confused between getting a DCB or Infinia. I feel I can easily get 8L spend in a year, but incase I don’t, I’m not comfortable that DCBM renewal fee is not transferred as reward points. But the quarterly milestone in DCBM seems very attractive. I’ve checked in smartbuy now that DCBM and Infinia have almost the same 5x reward points. Has something changed now from the 3x rewards in DCBM? If I can ask for Infinia Plastic, will that request be taken? Because Infinia Plastic has 8L waiver limit, and 10k renewal fee, which can be used again as rewards. Anyone recently got a Infinia Plastic from an upgrade?

If 8lacs waiver is not met DCB is sure a no go. If one can achieve 2 milestone, DCB will be better in most scenarios. Sometimes acceptance is issue for many people.

In india there is less issue, I didn’t found anywhere i can't use my card even i am in tier 3 city, wherever any card is accepted, diners also accepted.

Go for Infinia if you're unsure about 8L... With Infinia you pay only GST of 2250 and get rest fees as RPs.
This 2250 can easily be compensated with higher value of monthly capping on Infinia

and as @Indrajeet100 mentioned, if you can hit 4 lakhs in 2 qtrs, then DCBM might be better.
