Actually I'm holding an savings account in hdfc bank 🏦
Now hdfc offers an pre-approved credit card for me.. With an limit of 92k..
Card variant= DINERS CLUB PRIVILEGE
Fees = FREE
Cards I'm holding now
- SBI CASHBACK
- INDUSIND LEGEND
- IDFC POWER PLUS
- IDFC FIRST MILLENIA
Having an confusion that should i take it or wait for another offer...
Any suggestions, guide for this ⁉️

They did for my cousin brother. Last month. House verification, but apparently he also asked for occupation details aswell.

No enquiry if you check on xpressway. But I think they have updated the apply page which now mandatorily requires you to check the option which allows hdfc to do a credit score check on the first page itself.

There is no verfication for pre approved cc. They just ask for employment details while completing the application.

Not true. There has been multiple instances mentioned in this forum itself where offline verification is being done for pre approved offers. Especially from December. And it happened for my cousin brother aswell last month. I specifically checked if it's pre approved application. In url it said pre-approved. Only asked for occupation details. But still offline verification has been done. Which is why I am being hesitant to apply for pre approved offers now since I am just a student.

you sure about the c2c route?
I visited my branch with axis credit limit of 7.5l but the bank employee said it isn't required as u are already salaried and i got moneyback plus

they did a normal application using pay slips. if you apply C2C by submitting last 1 year statement of your current card they usually match the limit or give 90% of current card limit. If they are still accepting C2C.
