PNB Credit cards experience | Application process and time

Hi,
Can any one share the experience with Punjab national bank credit cards?

Mine rejected after 1.5 month

This card is definitely not worth for so much hassle. I am using it from past 1 year, will consider closing before renewal next year

Yes,I have already have PNB account but they asked to complete video kyc again.
On yesterday I have completed vkyc and after 1hour I got a confirmation that VKYC is approved.
But after that the status is showing as vkyc completed and a line moves to credit sanction.

After vkyc within 1 week you will get dispatch confirmation. These sarkari banks (except Sbi goat) are very poor infra wise (both software and hardware) .
One hr ago, i applied for axis rewards card and it got approved the same second (not even a min) . Within 2 mins I placed the order on swiggy using axis rewards.
The level difference is crazy.

My brother have applied for PNB kyc in June first week and completed kyc unfortunately his vkyc is still pending with auditor.

I think PNB is crazy in processing credit card application.

Lucky My KYC is approved after 1 hour of video kyc

Your brother might have got some discrepancy in the application form. They dont even tell if the application gets discrepant. They will update you only after u send the mail.
I have to appreciate pnb in one regard that their mailing system is very good. They give responses to the mail and fair and accurate too.

He has send 3 email to their customer care email but unfortunately they are not responding.There call center have no idea regarding the application.
They only share the status showing on the app.
Finally he has raised grievance in CPGRAMS.
PNB Cards customer care is quite impressive.

Is any seperate email id for discrepancy related issue l.

There are many frineds who applied with ITR i did not here from them about physical varification.PNB need only strong income documents like ITR or Form 16 only

Today I got discrepant application SMS.
They are asking last year ITR.I have attached last 2year ITR but card application status is showing ekyc pending.

Any update @mrbean i also got discrepant msg on Saturday same as you 5.45pm. I sent ITR on mail on Saturday itself. Today got acknowledgement mail.

When should I expect approval massage ?? Thanks in advance.

Same I got a discrepant message on Saturday evening 5:17Pm.

I have uploaded the required ITR acknowledgement and send email to them.
Today they send a acknowledgement email that required documents received to them and application under process.

I think it takes 2-3days for approval.

@mrbean Any update bro ??. I called on IVR today. They said yesterday on 6th documents is completed. Now application is with Credit assessment team for final approval. Will get update soon.

I have contacted PNB and they states that application is rejected due wrong credit card variant selected and asked to apply for lower variant.
Pathetic bank even they could issue lower variant card

Bro this happened already to many users. If their income is not matching then they issued lower varient. Many have applied rupay select and got platinum. You can see in this thread also. You should escalate.

That's why I applied lowest possible varient visa classic despite of having 7L net ITR. We can upgrade after approval easily.

Which card did you applied and what is your net ITR amount ?? What is current status in PNB ginie? Is it showing rejected ? Can you please confirm that. So I can get idea of mine. @mrbean

I think the previous year ITR is lesser may be the reason for decline.
But can issue atleast 25K limit.

Bro any waiting period for declined application for reapply 😔
I got a decline message from PNB after that the genie is not working.
