Pluxee Reimbursement Rupay Card Balance

Hi,

I am using Pluxee for Communication Allowance from my employer. I have already reimbursed my broadband bill from it. Pluxee withdrew the eligible amount from my Communication Allowance balance to the Reimbursement Wallet. I do not understand how to utilize this reimbursement wallet balance or transfer it to my bank account.

Can anyone please help?

Pluxee card has variants, one is a Meal pass and another is a Reimbursement Benefit.
Meal pass - Companies would add some portion of the amount to your card which is TAX EXEMPTED. This amount can only be used for food purchases [i.e., groceries, swiggy, zomato and so on...]
Reimbursement Benefit - All other allowances [Internet, Fuel, Driver, Uniform, etc.,] given by the employer would come under Reimbursement Benefit, which is also TAX EXEMPTED. This amount cannot be transferred to the bank but it can be used as a normal debit card anywhere [i.e., offline or online purchase]

Hi Tuhin - if you are using Pluxee app, give a try by looking in reimbursement tab, you should find “transfer money” option. You can be able to transfer money to your savings account but with some charge

@vijaykra65 can you share the screenshots by how we can transfer the money to bank in Pluxee app. I do not see the option in my pluxee app.

There are some local marts/shops that accept pluxee even the meal pass balance for buying anything in thier stores(even non food related). Maybe try there. I us3 mine at a local mart in bangalore.

Hi Tuhin,

My employer is starting the communication allowance benefit starting August. It is a flexible benefit with maximum amount of 3K per month.

I need your help in deciding how much amount can I actually use per month as the remaining amount will unnecessarily be stuck in the wallet? They have told us that the amount can only be used for mobile prepaid recharge / postpaid bill.

Could you please confirm if we can use this amount for Internet Bill reimbursement? Also, please let me know if this amount can be used anywhere else.
