Planning to buy used i20 2023

Hi all,

So I found a i20 2023 facelift petrol sportz on olx.

The person selling is the owner and not a dealer and says he has all the orginal docs, all service records from Hyundai and I didn't ask him about insurance but 3rd party is surely there.

The only thing which I didn't like is that it has 70k kms on the odo, not sure if the 70k service is done or not.

The car is less than 2yrs old as of now.

Can any i20 owner or expert tell me if buying a car with these many kms a good idea?

My annual usage is going to be around 4-5k kms which will be 70% highway and expressway and 30% city and roads at my place are good and don't have much traffic.

I am looking to keep this for long term.
Any input is appreciated.

asking is 6.5 I am trying to get it to 6, that is why I thought it was a great deal other than the km driven.

The seller has installed those chapri-looking 17-inch alloys too, and the tyres are 75% remaining.
I plan to exchange them with someone for original sports variant alloy like looking rims.

I've never seen a car used this much in my family, which is why I need to ask someone else who knows this.

Our family owns three Hyundai cars, mine is i20. My brother's is verna 2018 model and it was driven very rashly like real rash. has 95k on odo , did proper service , not a single issue related to engine or gear box or clutch. Only general service, recently did a break pad and disc change. Its running pretty smooth. Only thing I can say is it depends on how you maintain the car and on time servicing. Thats it.

Thank you so much for this info, I just had a talk with my maternal uncle too and he says the same.
Maintenance is cheap and must be on time and nothing else is needed.

All the best, if you have 6 lacs would suggest to pay that down payment and may be max 5 lacs EMI, get yourself a I20 N line automatic. Trust me you wont regret the decision bro. Just a suggestion , rest is up to you.

All the best, if you have 6 lacs would suggest to pay that down payment and may be max 5 lacs EMI, get yourself a I20 N line automatic. Trust me you wont regret the decision bro. Just a suggestion , rest is up to you.

Yeah that's usually the case with most people.
This guy told me that his business is 50kms one way therefore daily usage is 100 that is why these many kms.
my current car is used around 14k in last 3 yrs.

Yeah most people don't use their car much.
I am considering this car with this much kms only because my own usage is very less, I rarely have to leave my place for any chores or when my sisters are home to roam with them.
And for emergency or rain ofc.
The 450km every other month is going to be used to visit my sister, otherwise I don't have much use.

check spinny may be ? i guess you will get less driven car wih approx same money. check vehicle service record too.

I did check spinny, way to overpriced.
Pre-facelift models are being quoted for 7L and with no company warranty.
