Can someone explain me why no one opting for HDFC Ultimo. From my understanding it is equivalent of SBI Phonepe Black Select at 500 less annual fee or am I tripping? Plus at HDFC we have good chances of conversion to Lifetime Free

1000 vs 2000 capping on monthly cashback

Still rejected saying over leverage issue. I guess they copy paste the same template everywhere. Again sent request to issue a new card splitting my existing credit card limit. Let's see what happens. But i guess that also won't work

No… for Otp transactions its only UTILITY PP FSS IN.. not sure if they fixed anything recently.. but if you didn’t got .. you can send email to customer care.. might need to escalate to nodal offier.. they can help tou for this transactions cb

I have an update about the redemption- The minimum threshold to redeem the RP as statement credits is not 2000, I did redeem 1000 RP as 1000 INR as statement credits without any redemption fee.

Have you redeemed the vouchers against the statement credit? Is there any redemption fee?
I don't see it is mention anywhere in the sbi's site that we can redeem as statement credit. I wrote to customer care and got the below response but I believe it is wrong and it is applicable only for other cards.
"We wish to inform you that you may redeem your reward points against outstanding ofyour SBI card account and 2000 points are equivalent to Rs.500. Please note that points can be redeemed against outstanding only in multiples of 2000."
Point redemption call customer care once you reach 1k they will convert statement credit

That's wrong, when you call them they'll say the same thing 2000 RP equivalent to 500 INR with 99+gst redemption fee. Ask them to confirm or connect the call to a supervisor, the supervisor will actually tell you the facts of this card. NO redemption fee and the ratio is ofc 1:1. I redeemed 1000 RP for 1000 rs as statement credits. The card is new so not every SBI executive knows much about the card.
