me applied on 18th. Still nothing
no sms no verification 🤣

As you said on another post, You uploaded the bank statement and the application got rejected. You will not get any further sms/calls because it has been rejected.

APPLIED CARD FOR SBI PHONEPE, NEXT DAY DID BANK STATMENTS VIA NET BANKING. SAME TIME SHE SAID DELINED. BUT AFTER MAILING AND CALING CC THEY SAYING " UNDER PROCESS" . NOT RECEIVED ANY MESSAGE. HOW MUCH TIME IT WILL TAKE??

My mother's application also got rejected for the same thing, due to not having enough turnover/balance in the bank statement. When calling and emailing them, they will say it's in process but that is incorrect. As the agent said on call when you uploaded the statement. It is rejected.

How to Check Your PhonePe SBI Select (Black) Credit Card Application Status​

If you try to track your application status using the official SBI Card tracking link – https://www.sbicard.com/en/eapply/track-credit-card-application.page – it usually shows the error:

“You have entered an incorrect application number. Re-enter your application number to track it.”

Even if you enter the correct application number received via SMS, it will still show this error.


✅ To correctly check your application status, follow these steps:

1. Open the SBI Card App on your phone.
2. Go to the “More” section from the bottom menu.
3. Select “Benefits”.
4. Tap on “Avail New Card”.
5. Here, you will see your application status along with the same application number that you received via SMS.

In my case, I applied through the PhonePe app, and the application number shown in the SBI Card app matched the one I received via SMS.

I applied the SBI PhonePe card on 28/08/25 @ around 1:30 am through SPRINT. Filled all the details. And got application number and a message " We are now validating your application and it will take 12-24 hours. But didn't get any option for VKYC. On the same day @ 11:44 pm I received an sms "You have successfully submitted your application for SBI Credit Card." along with an application tracking link. But application status is showing "Entered incorrect application number". No other communication, neither on email or sms.
What to expect now? Any chances of getting that card? Or should I email them?
I am already holding SBI Simply Save and Click and a clean Cibil history, for the context.

After completing EKYC ( haven't taken VKYC) I was asked to give access of my SBI account I provided it. Then after 2 days I received a call from SBI to upload my bank statement. I uploaded it. But still no update from them.

Sbi card cs head team just called me and said that they have received my docs and will update me in few days over email.

I obviously can't say this with 100% confidence but if the agent said that the statement upload was declined and you still haven't received any updates in this long. Then I think your application is rejected. It just takes time for them to officially reject it from their side.

inside i knw it's rejected. just hoping they will approve.
me should apply first simply click kind off card as her income is less and another bank card having basic limit.
wrongly selected high end card.

Am getting offer for simply click rupay FYF in app however confused between this and that at one hand this seems a good card for utility spends on the other hand SimplyClick will work in sales on ecom. (Holding SBI cb currently) does anyone have a perspective on this?

( want to get SBI cards before over leveraged issue starts)
