Hotel Points Personal loan application issue

I am currently employed in an central public sector undertaking. I earn a decent pay. 10 months ago due to medical emergency i had late payments which are reflected as DPDs in my 3 loan accounts. However everything was cleared and now my cibil is 768. Got approved for icici credit cards too. I applied for a PL with icici and my application was rejected due to this DPD. The sales team and credit manager told me that past 6 months payment history should be good. I had 10 months of clean credit history. How many months of past track records does these private banks like icici or hdfc check for loan approval?..I am really afraid if I will ever get approved for loans from private banks

HSBC gives the best PL interest rates, starting from 9.99% and negotiable.
And they don't check your address if you are not from their serviceable area so you can enter any address along with your permanent address.
They won't ask address proof.
