Payzapp + Red Girraffe MCC Patched

Payzapp has corrected the MCC for rent transactions done on Red Girraffe. I did a transaction yesterday and the merchant name is reflected as PZRENT. The transaction got settled today and Axis has charged a 1% rent surcharge + GST as well. So it’s no longer reflected as a utility transaction

so if rent is 17500, in which RG charges 81 INR (convenience fee) thereby total rent : 17581 needs to be paid via payzapp, on which payzapp will add extra 0.46% right? ie. 17581*.46%= 80; hence total amount paid = 17661 INR.

Assuming I get 1% CB using HDFC Millennia CC on payzapp wallet load, total net = 17661-176= 17485 INR, is profit of just 15 INR ; is my calculation correct?

Payzap does not add any charges. If your rent is 17500, RG will create a bill for 17581 which is visible on Payzap and can be paid without any additional charge

hi. i dont think hdfc millenia gives rewards for payzap wallet load even though it claims rewards for wallet load as I tried but didn't get..but you can do rent payment in payzap without adding to wallet i.e on payzap page pay with millennia credit card as one transaction per month doesn't attract any charges and no rewards as well but spend criteria or milestones can be met. correct me if I am wrong. thank you.

Remind me on May 4. I did a test transaction in payzapp wallet to check CB using HDFC millennia cc.

The current best way to rent seems to be using CCs which give points for PayZapp wallet loads. I believe Kotak White/White Reserve and Standard Chartered Ultimate CCs should work.

Is rent payment on payzapp still working through only payzapp wallet balance option? Or there is any capping?

worked fine for me this morning. The capping is 5lakhs per FY on wallet loads on payzapp

- Monthly: Rs 2 lakhs

- Annual: Rs 5 lakhs

Debit Limits from wallet:

- Monthly: Rs 1 lakh
