Paytm wallet load charges now 4.35%, Better alternative???

Recently Paytm started charging 4.35% on credit card wallet loading. Previously it was 2.35%

What are the better alternative now with cheaper rate.

Any suggestions?

No money in wallet, was using via Rupay card UPI from last 2 months, but some small merchant does not support card UPI payment( I do not know , why?, may be due to some MDR charges)

Rarely use Paytm postpaid, getting cashback offer for wallet load, so thought why not reload that and use for small merchant, and can transfer unused money to bank, if required.

I get it.

But paytm recently started charging 2% extra as penalty for people who did wallet to bank.

I saw it somewhere. Don't remember the details.

Since then I do not do wallet to bank.

Yea similar but u can only transfer upto 50k per account per day

Means if we transfer 1 time, charges goes up, and then come down after 3 months, right?

Just checked my last transferred date was 27 aug 23 for Rs. 10000( which is approx 2 month)

Yeah..right..There is a threshold of 5k, post which you will have a penalty. It should come down in another month

Just seen offer section, and Paytm is giving 3.35% cashback for wallet load, so it's just 4.35-3.35=1% charge I have to pay now, which can be recovered via 2% sc smart cashback and 1 % card payment cashback, so still I will be in 2% overall profit

P.S. - Just shared for info, I will not be using Paytm wallet load, until my fee again reduce to 2.35 or less

The person who wrote the example was completely showing their incompetency..
He/She says up to 2% extra on the amount transferred from Wallet to bank..
What was the rule that was stated and what was the example they gave .. completely messed up..

the catch here is that check your other activated wallet offers.
if you have any other activated offer lets say 1.5 oe 2% upto 300 on adding via cc even if you click on this that offer will be used first.
i eneded up adding 18k like that and received 2% and 2.35% cashback while paying 3.35% charges

I had this offer last month. Used it and then didn't get it again for this month, even though it said offer is valid till 31/10 and can be used once per month and 2 times during the offer period. Now I just get 1.5% to fuel wallet offer.

If this was an festival offer, then all should have received this, but looks like it is only for those, who have transfer rate is equal or greater than 3.35%

Just a guess, so that effectively they can transfer with 0 to 1% charges after cashback
