it doesn't @tbharech, at this point nothing works for HDFC ergo. I paid from their website.

ps: not even credit cards works on either amazon or justdial, the bill payment itself just doesn't work yet on BBPS

FWIW, I paid HDFC ERGO health insurance using Amazon pay balance via https://www.hdfcergo.com/renew-hdfc-ergo-policy using the Billdesk option under wallet and then selecting Amazon pay on the Billdesk page. Paying via BBPS on amazon.in did not work for me.

Wallet no longer shows Amazon Pay under Billdesk. Any other workaround?

My bad. Its still there. They have just removed it from popular wallets section. You have to select it from the dropdown below.

I think after the Amazon Pay update earlier this month, you wont be able to pay your bill if its more than 15k per month.

I paid 32k on 2nd June. Don't know if the restriction was applied after that.

Hello Friends and fellow Credit Card holders, if you hold an HDFC ERGO health insurance like me, and want to maximize rewards / cashback while paying the bill, them this post is for you. Happy Reading!

What happened: We all know the best way to get maximum rewards while paying the HDFC ERGO bill is if you use Amazon gift cards and pay the bill via Amazon Pay Wallet. The issue is you can not fetch your insurance bill using Amazon Pay due to an unknown error with the DOB issue.

What's the solution: Just Dial! Yes, the platform doesn't charge any convenience fee and you can pay the bill too! Just select the Amazon Pay Wallet option in the payment page and voilá! You would've gotten some really good rewards while paying your insurance bills!

What's the Catch: While Entering the details to fetch the bill, leave the DOB field empty, and proceed with the payment.

But I have a different but related question. I am looking forward to buy HDFC Ergo Health Insurance. And it says that it has no cost monthly installments plan.

Can you say if I can pay those installments via amazon pay? Because, in that case it would be a lesser risk to load amazon pay balance and then pay.
