I am currently using 1password(family plan) which due on dec4th. So, Just want to discuss about any Better Password managers & Black Friday offers & Starting a group if anyone is interested. Please give suggestions.

We have been using 1password for more than 3 years. didn't face any leaks & issues so far. we were 5 people, so family plane was good at $30(rs.520/user for year). Now that 2 people left . we are looking for members/alternates.

Bitwarden feels the best, even though 1password UI and native autofill is better, I like bitwarden's straightforwardness. You can give it a go if you haven't yet.

Bitwarden is the Best for sure,. I found it easy and simple to store my password and it get integrated in Mozilla through extension easily. On mobile, if you are loyal to Samsung then I use it.

I used to use lastpass but then dropped it few years ago due to multiple breaches from lastpass.

Since then I have been using Bitwarden and it fulfills all my requirements (and it is free). You can also Self host it if you can.

Another good alternative is KeepassXC but it is little harder to use compared to Bitwarden.

1Password lifetime free 🙂

If I were to use an alternate, I would consider Apple Passwords or Proton Pass (they're also running Black Friday sale).

IMO, KeepassXC is not harder at all. It's offline. I just put it in a Dropbox or Google / onedrive. There are a few addons to enable sync but I don't use them.

Why can't we just use Apple or Google password manager?
Apple password manager even supports passkey and timed otp generation
Never used apple.
Google password manager is not secure enough to save our banking information.
Yeah you can use it for random forums, websites etc, but not for banking logins and other personal information.

how is 1password lifetime free??!

Through their Open Source Projects Program for Developers. If the project is prominent and they approve it, then everyone in the organization gets the access regardless of the team size. I've gotten a bunch of licenses through such programs. Even JetBrains gives all their products access FREE 😛

I heard many companies have tie-ups with 1password. If your company has an enterprise license, then it will be free for you.
