It has been 2 years since i’m not able to apply any CC in IndusInd Bank. Can’t even open bank account on my number.
The reason being… before I got my mob. number (8 years back)… It was with some other guy who opened bank acc in IndusInd. But since 8 yrs I own this number and he never really cared to take a look at his bank account. And his bank account has been dormant since then. And the only point of contact with bank was this number. Now the bank can’t reach him. And as the IndusInd bank has 1 number 1 customer ID policy. I can never take a credit card on my OWN (and ONLY) number unless that bank account is removed. And that can’t be done without his approval… according to bank employee.
Now… Even if i try to apply through their website… it says “Pan No incorrect. this mob no doesn’t belong to this pan no.”
This situation is so complex calling, mailing, visiting nothing helped! And because of all this mess… I haven’t been able to apply for CC.
What can i do now? Please help. Thanks in advance.
