One of my friend have paytm merchant who accepts payment through cc upi...

But recently he can see charges for transaction under 2k.... And now he just disabled the option to accept payment via rupay cc...

This might be the another nail.in the coffin of rupay cc on upi

Yeah I too noticed. But don't think same will happen with phone pe or gpay. There market share is huge

It happens because you accept only rupay cc payment on this merchant

Isn't the limit of 2000 is applicable for the entire day on a single rupay credit card. If you make multiple transaction in a single day using single rupay credit card and the total for the day goes over 2000 for one card, I think mdr will be charged.

Until ur card single transaction is under 2k, no mdr charges

I am pretty sure if their business turnover is over 20L(i believe) it will incur MDR charges.

2000 se jyada to payment karna allow hi nhi karta same ac se until merchant ne 2k k uper transactionallow kar rakhe ho. Ye payment kiye kaise. Agar 2k k uper accept karoge to charge to lagega hi. Fir wo chahe 5k ka 1 transaction ho ya 1700 k 3 it doesn't matter

2k limit is per day for a user. If he receives below 2k from different people then no charges, in screenshot it's from same person. Since it's above 2k, there's charges.
