Are the value of the reward point 1Reward to 1Rs like SC Ultimate? if so then it means you get 4% on all retail spends

i dont think it's even 1% as it is 4RP/150Rs. Smart card is wayy better than this.

• Reward points are also redeemable against the outstanding credit card statement balance [1RP = ₹0.20]
• A minimum reward points balance of 1000 is required to proceed with redemption as defined in point 11.2. Reward points can be redeemed only in multiples of 100.

To qualify a transaction to be a retail transaction is completely depend on MCC.

Interesting. Doesn't Standard Chartered ultimate only provide the option to buy vouchers, and not against statement credit? It would have been too good if it allowed redemption against statement credit I guess

SC Ultimate doesn't provide statement credit. Only voucher redemption.

Another useless card from SC. Axis Ace gives 2% cashback for mostly all retail spends.
