Need Advice: IndusInd Pioneer Metal LTF Credit Card Against FD – Worth It?

Hi everyone,

I'm from a Tier 3 city, where unfortunately IndusInd Bank credit cards are not directly serviceable. However, I currently hold an IndusInd Select account along with a ₹2L fixed deposit.

Recently, my Relationship Manager (RM) approached me with an offer:
If I open a ₹3L FD, he can arrange for the IndusInd Pioneer Metal Credit Card Lifetime Free (LTF) for me, even though the card isn’t officially serviceable in my area.

I have a few questions:

  • Has anyone here availed a similar offer?
  • Is it safe and wise to trust such RM-led offers?
  • Does it make sense to park ₹3L in an FD just to get this card?

Would appreciate any inputs from those with similar experiences or who are familiar with IndusInd’s card issuance against FDs.

Thanks in advance!

Maintain good balance in account, u will eventually get legend or pinnacle ltf preapproved offer.

Pinnacle Heritage is more of a lifestyle card offering unlimited lounges for cardholders and add ons, and zero forex markup. If it does not suit to your requirements, you can go for other cards.

Sounds too good to be true, RM seems to lure you with this offer , better take it in email before you make the FD.

There are different variants of PMH based on the annual and joining fees. Which one is he offering? They all have different features.

Maybe you can do this. If your cibil/salary is good.

8-10 day ago i received call of agent said calling from indusind and if i want any cc ( i dont have any relationship with them previously used to do fd in paytm and applied cc 2-3 times but not serviceable pincode )
I asked her send me your ID card photo and her employee code. And told my address is non serviceable she said any other address will work.
Then i proceeded with application told her name etc then got link in number i put aadhar etc everything myself then submitted then she asked me to for any other address where my relatives live i gave noida address ( i am from mp ) she even edited company address to Noida ( name of company same ) she didn't told me she will change company address too till then cibil enquiry was done so i proceeded with vkyc she asked you are in different address told him yes i came in some function etc in my aadhar address vkyc completed next day card approved with 2.42l.
Will update address online of both company/current after 4-5m
