Axis Magnus Magnus with bob 4.8L c2c basis

I have a fixed deposit in bob of 6L. should I take a card against that fd & get magnus after 1 year.

As bob fd based card is not reported as secured & limit is also mentioned in the cibil report.
(I know that I can break fd only after I close the card, fd liquidity is not a problem for me)

Please share your views on this

As far as i know for 6Lakh you can easily get Axis select card you can later upgrade to magnus easily

It's up to the bank to offer that to you and since this is Axis anything can happen 🤣

That's at the discretion of the bank. It's uncommon for banks to convert/upgrade secured cards. My suggestion would be to take a secured card with a high limit and use it for a while. After a year, it opens you up to a lot of premium cards via the c2c route.

That is very unlikely , so better don't take the risk.

It's better as you mentioned. Take a regular bob card like premier on fd then apply on c2c
