Devaluation Kotak Myntra Credit Card Discontinued effective 10th July 2025 🚨

I don't think that the fee will remain same. Banks usually don't have different fee structures for the same card from customer to customer. I think what kotak was trying to say in the mail is that the lifetime free cards will be migrated to new cards as LTF and paid ones will remain paid. However if someone is getting migrated to Zen, he'll be charged Rs. 1500 + GST as fee only, which is Zen card's actual fee.
Confirmed with Kotak customer care. They mentioned both jf and af1500 + GST fee are applicable for zen. Good that I already got league rupay ltf. I can opt out of this migration.

I guess you are right. They will probably charge 1500 + gst

They replied the same to me when I called them. They were oblivious of the fact that Myntra card is getting discontinued and kept saying that you if opt out you'll simply be not migrated to zen and your Myntra cc would continue to work. He went on to tell me the useless perks of zen card and how the upgrade would be beneficial to me.

Wht r d options if customer opt out this upgrade. Can they close the card without our consent or forcefully convert the card to league
You can just opt out and the card will be automatically closed on or before July 10. If you do not give any consent for opting out, it will automatically migrated to zen. So make sure to opt out before 10th July. Coming to your second query, no they cannot forcefully convert the card to league. If you opt out, Myntra card will be simply closed

Kotak had already planned the closure of this card way in advance when it sent the upgrade offer to Zen card about a month back to me (picture attached). I had ignored the mail back then but when saw the thread that Kotak Myntra is getting discontinued, I was pretty sure that it would be upgraded to Zen and guess what I was right. Yesterday got the mail that my Myntra CC would be migrated to Zen CC unless I opt out.

Also one more thing to note is that if one takes the offer they have to pay the same annual fees of 590 for Zen also and not 1770 (gst included) according to the mail received. That's what I perceived from the mail. Also confirmed in this video.

So the question arises if zen cc should be taken/beneficial at the price of 590 rs or not. Please suggest.View attachment 100144View attachment 100145View attachment 100146View attachment 100150

I agree with what you're saying except for this:

"Also one more thing to note is that if one takes the offer they have to pay the same annual fees of 590 for Zen also and not 1770 (gst included) according to the mail received."

If Myntra card gets migrated to Zen; the fee will be Rs. 1770 only and not Rs. 590. Banks don't charge different fee for the same card from different customers.

I think Kotak is saying that the those holding LTF variant will get LTF new card only and the paid card holders will be paying the fee. But the fee will be same as the existing fee for the variant they're going to be upgraded to. If they're getting migrated to Zen, the fee is going to be 1500 + GST only.
