New kotak RuPay IOCL credit card received (card is still not fully live in kotak website)

This card was reflecting on kotak online application process on 6th and 7th Dec ...i applied on 6th Dec through bank representative in kotak mobile app on 6th Dec.

Did anyone actually get this Kotak IOCL RuPay credit card? I applied online as Abhishek mentioned, my application shows approved but no activity after that for 10 days.

I applied on 6th February and hard civil enquiry is done and now everything silent.

Kotak ke yahan aisa hi hota hai.

Wait for a few days. Probably till Friday. The system should have been updated with your application by then.

Check if the card is showing in Netbanking and Mobile app.

Already checked. Not showing. No SMS about approval. Nothing. It is approved without being actually approved. 😂

Won't be surprised if they send you the physical card and after two days close it by saying, opps approved by mistake. Happened to me.

OMG credit card approved by mistake? Isn't there any responsibility the bank is legally supposed to take under RBI rules for such things?

Don't know. But after asking them to also close my savings account they reactivated the card within one day.

I got approval message just one day before dispatching, even though the card was approved at least 3 days before.

I applied almost a week ago, got SMS with application no. and saying you can track your application after 24 hours. CIBIL hit was done.

Now there is no update yet, even their application tracking page says Invalid Request if I enter application No. or a combo of Contact+ Birth date.

Their application tracking works only at specific times of the day. sometimes it says invalid for all approved or rejected applications. At other times it works. But yeah my issue is same. No update for a week despite a week of saying "Approved" on the application status website. No SMS like we usually get about credit card approval and dispatch.

There is a trick to that. You have to use a different mobile number and apply offline. But, not many succeeded

Mostly because only a very limited number if people have tried and reported their success. So far, I have known 2.

This card is not officially showing up on kotak credit card page but the trick to apply is go to the Kotak's credit card page apply for Kotak urbane gold credit card the page will ask if you are a already existing customer or new customer, since I do not hold a kotak credit card so I chose new customer, on the next page do not select any rewards catagory as shown in attached pic. Enter you income and voila!! You will get to see many Kotak card options one of which is Kotak IOCL.

I think Kotak Urbane RuPay JCB Credit card also better, if you dnt want for Fuel spend and want only for Kotak bank offers and RuPay JCB offers -

You can also conversion Kotak Urbane Visa to RuPay credit card.
