Update : Visited nearest branch and asked for opening 811 account, not sure why but the couple employees were pushing me to open regular account instead of 811. I insisted to open 811 only and asked for details, they do not have a dedicated employee for 811. Shared his contact and he did biometric KYC, selected metal debit card and transferred 81k and account is active one hour later. I had previously 811 account 7 years ago and it was automatically closed due to non kyc. This new account has old CRN but all new account details. Excited to receive my metal debit card. Attaching the debit card details from the employee device while applying. Also I heard they are running some promo offer for account opening which is 1250 GC. Expecting to receive it soon.

After they input aadhar and pan, didn't the app throw app existing customer .?? It happened in my case.

Received the welcome kit today. Confirmed that Metal DC offer is still active. The rumors of Metal DC offer being withdrawn on Aug 1 is false.

Thanks , but my question is related to forex spends. not that 500 cashback. I see there is no forex spends on metal debit card for international swipe/ pos I wanted to know can we withdraw cash also at ATM without any extra fee ? or it is applicable to only POS/Online

The charges for international withdrawal are Rs 150. Also zero forex is a marketing gimmick. Check their T&C to see the high rates they are quoting for different currencies.

Can you link to the t&c about the rates? Also aren't the rates fixed by Visa?

I guess these rates are not updated.. true 95 for Euro would be a lottery...
But the point is.. they are saying it's free.. but in reality there are charges.. and nothing is mentioned clearly..
