Except for Times Black, most of these cards aren’t easy to get for everyone and even Times Black isn’t worth it unless you use all the lifestyle perks. That’s where CSB Edge+ has an edge: easy approval, LTF, and rewards matching or beating many premium cards (till it devalues).
Yes, that is true. These cards are super premium cards, and you should only go for them if you have high spends. Needless to say, there is a tough eligibility criteria for them and hence it is not aimed at everyone. Like you said, Times Black is easy but the you're paying "double" premium for that even though it gives lower returns than EPM or Infinia. And the points are not free cash like cashback cards - they need to be redeemed on flights, hotels or premium products like Apple to extract that "maximum" value.

But I won't say Jupiter Edge+ has an "edge" over these. It has a different customer base, just like cashback cards. If your spends are met with this, then no need to go for any of those cards. When spends are higher on shopping & travel, then the cashback cards can only give you back upto a limited extent (like this one has max limit of 500 cashback on one merchant). That is when cards like Infinia or EPM come out and beat everyone.

You perfectly explained and correctly put all the facts.

But I guess you misinterpreted my statement somehow. Your first line says a word "Super Premium" and my last line has a word "Premium", and there is a huge difference between the Premium and Super Premium Cards specially in terms of getting those cards. The jump from basic/mid-range to premium cards (like Atlas, Regalia Gold, Sapphiro, Yes Marquee, Amex Plat Travel) is still easier, but going from Atlas to MB or RG to Infinia or Sapphiro to EPM is tough nut to crack unless you fit into that segment. I specifically compared Edge+ to premium cards only.

So my point was Edge+ holds its ground against premium cards, may not be overall better, but with easy approval, LTF, and a high reward rate, it clearly stands out.
