which banks don't charge ATM withdrawl fees in malaysia, thailand and Sri lanka ?
Some people have verified that in Malaysia and UAE, there are no international ATM cash withdrawal charges when using the SBI RuPay JCB Platinum Debit Card. You verify it for other countries yourself.

I used my sbi rupay jcb dc in Malaysia, no atm fees and extra charges

But my sbi dc is not working for tap and pay, it’s working for swipe but not on tap and pay

Also at some places, fi DC didn’t work, used scapia without any issues..

As for thailand, they rarely accepts card payments, even if they accept it, they charges 3% extra on bill.
Major malls and 7-eleven (above 200bhat) accepts card without any charges.

Tips for Malaysia :
Don’t withdraw any cash, card payments works everywhere..
Even for 1 ringgit, you can pay by card.

I withdrew 200 Ringgit but couldn’t even use 1 ringgit for 1 day trip because everywhere they accepts card payment, just tap n pay or swipe .

Same question...Having a trip to Thailand on July..

Only POS machines..So it means that we cannot use it for hotel bookings online..
We are also having a Thailand trip in July... will definitely use my BOB Select and Suryoday Stable cards.... both are Rupay JCB

Well not many places accepts card.. but yeah if you pay at hotel or restaurant they will accept it but most of them charge 3% extra

In Phuket, Most of the hotels I see on Agoda or Booking are only available on Pre-booking basis. Very few hotels have "Pay at Hotel" Option..

used SBI DC in Singapore, sri lanka, malaysia, philippines, vietnam and thailand
it worked everywhere except some places, i think it depends on pos but still it works almost everywhere.

other rupay cc works with tap and pay without any issues but idk why my SBI DC never works in tap n pay, tried everything but nothing worked, so i had to use swipe it everytime.

Also many people said that they used rupay lounges in some countries but for me it didn't worked somehow, even though lougekey showing accessable lounges at singapore changi airport, my cards didn't worked, same thing happened in vietnam. rupay jcb cards won't work at their pos, the staff was good, we tried everything but still didn't worked, tried some rupay debit cards and bob premier rupay jcb card registered in loungekey.

Does anyone know how the cashback is credited? Is it credited back to the card used?

The terms and conditions imply that it will be credited to an account linked to the card holder but that does not seem to make sense since not everyone will have an associated bank account with their card issuing bank. For example in my case, my relationship with BOB is only credit card and not savings account.
