there was one thread regarding ATM withdrawls internationally but i can't find it now.

which banks don't charge ATM withdrawl fees in malaysia, thailand and Sri lanka ?
Some people have verified that in Malaysia and UAE, there are no international ATM cash withdrawal charges when using the SBI RuPay JCB Platinum Debit Card. You verify it for other countries yourself.

I used my sbi rupay jcb dc in Malaysia, no atm fees and extra charges

But my sbi dc is not working for tap and pay, it’s working for swipe but not on tap and pay

Also at some places, fi DC didn’t work, used scapia without any issues..

As for thailand, they rarely accepts card payments, even if they accept it, they charges 3% extra on bill.
Major malls and 7-eleven (above 200bhat) accepts card without any charges.

Tips for Malaysia :
Don’t withdraw any cash, card payments works everywhere..
Even for 1 ringgit, you can pay by card.

I withdrew 200 Ringgit but couldn’t even use 1 ringgit for 1 day trip because everywhere they accepts card payment, just tap n pay or swipe .

Same question...Having a trip to Thailand on July..

Only POS machines..So it means that we cannot use it for hotel bookings online..
We are also having a Thailand trip in July... will definitely use my BOB Select and Suryoday Stable cards.... both are Rupay JCB

Is it so? Going to Phuket after 18 days, was planning to take advantage of this offer by using my BOB select and Suryoday Stable cards

In Phuket, Most of the hotels I see on Agoda or Booking are only available on Pre-booking basis. Very few hotels have "Pay at Hotel" Option..
