Is it Worth Upgrading to CSB Edge+ Credit Card for ₹499?

I'm currently using the Jupiter RuPay CSB Edge Credit Card, which offers 2% cashback in the form of Jewels and is lifetime free (LTF). I primarily use this card for grocery shopping, where the cashback benefits have been quite useful.

Recently, I received an offer to upgrade to the Edge+ variant with an upgrade fee of ₹499. I'm trying to evaluate if this upgrade is worth the cost, considering my usage pattern is focused mainly on earning cashback on daily essentials.

Does anyone here have experience with the Edge+ card? Are the additional benefits significant enough to justify the upgrade fee, especially for someone who uses the card mostly for groceries?

Would love to hear your insights or a breakdown of benefits if you’ve made the switch.

I got this from Gmail app under promotion email top section usually and it's they mentioned limited period I don't know what are hidden t&c i gues i should opt in CPP (card protection plan) then only you may amazon prime membership i think. Or it may be limited period both free as welcome bonus and second year they going to charge by setting auto debit mandate for cpp. I can't tell what exactly because I re-applied within 6 months just shortfall of a week. They declined my application.

Is it just like SBI CB auto credit? Or we buy vouchers equal to points value?
Or at discount rate like kredit.pe?
Tried searching internet but got more confused with some saying yes against statement while others saying only digital gold !

Statement credit. i.e. pay your cc bill when the jewels become redeemable after 30 days of credit.

nope. I don't have and did get the card.
A metro city is a sure shot.

I think no convenience fee plus they allow you to use bank offers also on top of that like Yatra Prime

In my case YES
Applied when it was first released with waitlist of 1lakh+ then after seeing the waitlist I maintained monthly average balance of 50k for 3 -4 months afterwards in app it shows Apply option then I applied and got without income proof 1.5lakh limit
I live in Tier 2 city
This whole thing happened 1 year back
