Yes . When I closed sms , internet banking got deactivated, asked the Branch, they said that's how it works in IOB .

I closed account immediately

I'm emailing to IOB today regarding this, if they say so,
Will put 100rs in account, only use this to redeem RSDC benefits

It says- 50 debit transactions except BANK CHARGE PER HALF YEAR.

It says bank charge, not branch transactions. Read it carefully. @telescope . Please help him to understand

No yar, here bank charge means bank charges fees for dc,sms alerts,duplicate passbook or statement etc... those wont be counted in 50 debit translations.
Only cash withdrawal at branch is counted for 50 debit transactions, further will be 5rs per transaction.

50 debits at branch in a 6 months period is more than enough especially when we have dc.

The image you and I both uploaded and the charges mentioned in the section b)Applicable for Savings Accounts is part of Point number 6) TRANSACTION ENTRY CHARGES (Folio Charges to be levied annually).

Section a) mentions transaction entry or folio charges for Current Account and. While Section b) mentions transaction entry or folio charges for Saving Account.

🤣 Those are folio charges for saving account. Means only branch transactions count. Final verdict. Court Dismissed.

413 which is 375 + gst I think during card upgrade. I loaded 2k to the account and it's only taken 413. Wasn't charged anything for the base card , atleast till date.

So Didn't tick debit card or get default card then upgrade to select?

I received tracking id of India post today and it shows destination adress as my branch address. It’s upgraded card from classic to select.

So I got another tracking id 2 days ago from SPEEDPOST for my IOB DC and yesterday got sms about 1st tracking id that it has been delivered but I didn’t receive it So I guess it’s delivered in branch. Now I think as I gave request to upgrade before the despatch of 1st card, it’s delivered to branch and upgraded card will be delivered to my address. 🤞
