Got an agent yesterday but video call was not connecting. Tried with different phone same problem. Today again same problem. Fu3k, did BOB vkyc few days ago not problem at all. IOB is shit bank.

Meanwhile few years ago I did ICICI account vkyc using a laptop, was totally smooth no issue at all.

I said this 100 times on many threads, iob is horrible and shitty bank, stay far from it.
They don't have vkyc agents, the fat babus ( staff of the bank ) are given the duty to complete vkyc for customers, that's the reason you don't get any officer for vkyc. They have not outsourced vkyc to any agency.

One thing, iob vkyc need to be done on your phone with 4g or 5g network only. They dont allow via wifi

The sms charges are now 25 paise per sms, with no upper limit. So if you do 500 transactions in a month ur sms charges will be 0.25x500=Rs. 125/- for that month.

They don't update their website, info on their site is pure garbage.
Rs 15/- per quarter charge is absolutely wrong.

Some are getting delivered at branch because of non kyc only i guess

Yes did vkyc .
Vkyc was a bit weird in a good way. When I initially tried to do it , there was no slots available. Out of the blue , got a phone call while at work , around 10.30. The bank representative told me he can approve kyc while at work if I have my pan card available and I can answer questions. Since I always have pan + aadhar with me , it worked out .

Took 5 mins and vkyc was done at my office .

413 which is 375 + gst I think during card upgrade. I loaded 2k to the account and it's only taken 413. Wasn't charged anything for the base card , atleast till date.

Wow Thats a bonus, basic card with no fee.
Upgrade is only 350 plus gst total 413rs
