Inccorect Merchant name in tata neu hdfc card statement

Hi TF community,

I made a transaction of around 5.5L on tanishq in single transaction and around 3L on caratlane in multiple transactions with tata neu infinity card.
The merchant name is showing the R K SWARN PRIVATED LTD, due to this I only get 1.5% base neu coins and No Bonus coins for these transaction.

I also did some other transactions previously that shows the TANISHQ and CARATLANE in same outlets and i got 1.5% + 3.5% neu coins for those transactions.

I am loosing around 30K neu coins due to this incorrect merchant name

Is there any way to correct this?

nope, its entirely based on MCC provided by that showroom/website.. your intended purchase never matter to bank (any bank) when providing rewards/levy surcharge.

Always verify merchant name during OTP/PIN page (although even merchant name nowadays useless with different MCCs attached to it).

But, you can try by emailing and attaching Invoice, but chances are low.

Raise the complaint to bank, you must be holding the bill of tanishq and caratlane just show them. They will sort it out.
