Hi, IDFC has started to upgrade from Select to Wealth, easily by Card to Card (other card should have limit abv 4lk), just share your other card statement, and they will upgrade your existing card within a week, had to send other card statement to IDFC Banker <banker@idfcfirstbank.com> and they processed the upgrade quiet smoothly.

Did this new number trick work recently ? , My first card closure for 2024 - IDFC Select. They were not upgrading nor increasing the CL even if i am eligible. I have to buy a new number just for this. So checking.

Exactly when did you apply??

All things from card closure to card delivery happened last week

There isn't anything to devalue in IDFC Cards

nope.. idfc wealth card gives 1.5 to 2.5 % for online govt. services like taxes, edu fee where no card is rewarding.

Let's pray that it remains same. Any increase in spend threshold for accelerated rewards will make it junk.

Else send income docs post that they will do LE and subsequently upgrade

Don't have limit of 1.5L on Classic. Have to wait for LE.

Yes close and reapply using Millenia C2C. Even if you don't get anything wait for another 3 months and then reapply.

Have Select, Power plus and vistara with shared limit of 3.5L. Should I try closing select and applying for Wealth via c2c? Have axis, icici, amex with 5L+ limit(amex is 6 months old). I had tried upgrading select to wealth last month only via sending mail and c2c card statement, but was rejected. Should I just close my select and try applying fresh via c2c? Anyone else having vistara/power plus cards tried closing select and applying wealth?
