Or a payment on the card issuer bank website using the card (or NEFT from IDFC AC) would also give the same RP?

No, the bank site will fetch the financial institution MCC which is not eligible

I got a call from IDFC Bank, that person is saying if I will do 3 lac initial funding then he will Open directly select varient account. But you have to maintain for two months after that it will be zero balance, account with all benefits. But I am not able to maintain it for two months, then he said if you maintain for one month like today is 31st and tomorrow 1st then it will count it one month and he will see for next month, just do some transactions. Is he is telling correct? Or something fishy is there, ,? If I will not maintain man 3lac, then after how many months it will convert to basic ?

No, your account will have a base account variant MAB.

So after being upgraded to private, I'm finding it difficult to add my family members to private pool.
I opened accounts 25k variants with my bm's reference for all my family members and none of them got added to pvt banking yet. Also some of them started getting message that amb not maintained as they spent few thousand for first bonus reward points.
Also the same I did bought 1100 voucher of amazon on Amazon.in in expectation of 2k reward points but the amazon shows authorizing payment and later it got failed. (Refund not added to idfc) and points not credited (any idfc iOS users ? Do we see points at different location? Because when I login and click human icon on left, I don't see first rewards option on my wife's iphone?

My new account was opened with initial deposit of 5L. They said they can do wealth upgrade by taking approval from Regional Manager for 5L instead of 10L.

Although the whole process took some 1 month, it was finally converted to wealth. One good thing, I got double reward on activation of normal DC and then Wealth DC 😂
