IDFC First Wealth account Non-Maintainence of AMB

Nope. Wealth to regular. This was a 5 year old Wealth account. Maintained only 25k in the account throughout. So expected a downgrade at some point in time. Received the mail on May 17th to maintain the various criteria for wealth account, one of which being 10 lakh Savings deposit.

No premium account is worth maintaining. Good decision. Do let us know if they charge for debit card

Banks like hdfc, icici have been letting me keep their imperia, wealth accounts respectively with as less as 1L fd. That is my emergency fund so I would have kept it anyways. I wonder how long this will last

My account has been downgraded from Wealth to Regular even though I have maintained 25k minimum balance. The Wealth debit card is still active. Not sure if they will start charging for any of their services.

You got a Wealth account directly or upgraded from Select?

Not even wealth to select?

If you upgrade from basic to Wealth, then downgrading will also happen to basic. AFAIK
