IDFC First Social Media team checked TFC and helped in Card upgrade

TBH, this is an appreciation post for IDFC First's social media team.
As we all know, there is a fellow member jisne tehalka macha diya tha by requesting a reduction in CL to mere 1000 and then 100.

Anyway, in that thread, I also made a comment on how I am salty with IDFC because they refused to upgrade my Card variant. I made it in this comment.

Yesterday evening, from their team, Senior executive, Sobha called me and mentioned about the comment and raised a request. I was skeptical if they were legit or not that time or I was scammed by someone pretending to be from bank, but I could see the SR in app, so it was legit.
Anyway, she proceeded to confirm address, salary, etc and raised a request. Asked to wait 5-7 days for the issue to be resolved and the new card to be dispatched.

Today, I got message that the SR is marked as completed and checked in my app. It was upgraded. Sobha even called me back confirming that the card has been upgraded and asking to set the pin through app and informing it will be dispatched within 3 business days.
Seriously, I was trying for so long and unexpectedly got it through TFC, without even asking the bank this time.

Interesting. This was new since I didn't even tag them, they took the efforts to find my account details through this comment, that is commendable.
So they found you based on your name and limit? Identified your profile and called you directly..

A bit disturbing, and highlights the need for anonymity and risks associated with sharing info on public platforms, even like limit.

Although it turned out well for you.

Well yeah, and also OSINT is a real thing, the amount of information we share in bits and pieces when someone combines, they can use that to identify.

can idfc team can get my idfc private cc ltf then? cause even idfc private account i hold, my rm can't get my ltf private cc! not sure why idfc so called social team hasn't contacted me🤣

Wow! Awesome... They rejected my upgrade request multiple times. I had to close my card and apply for a new one to finally get the Wealth Card. But I’m really glad to see IDFC FIRST Bank helping our members with their issues through the TF Community.
This place is truly becoming the social media hub for credit card enthusiasts - all thanks to our amazing members!
