Oh wow, did you receive any msg that your account is converted into private. My bm asked me to accept over sms link. Uske baad he added me in email. I don't know if my account is private yet or not?

Looks are not great tbh. A lot like priority pass. They could have added a shade of some other color to make it look better.
No msg and stuff.
I had wealth account already, just got upgraded to Private recently
I personally liked its looks. Simplistic. It’s a metal card Matt finish with Golden fonts and silver embossing. “Private” and rectangles are printed in golden fonts which look good, however, not clearly visible in the pic 🙂

You didn't receive sms with the invite to private banking from idfc and you accept I agree?
And did they notify that your account has been upgraded. How did you know it's upgraded?
It will show up on the mobile app. In the Profile section you will see first private and at other places too on the app.
With 1cr trv?

You will get an email if this is your first upgrade in IDFC

@theXfactor is this upgrade based on savings account/FD balance only at family lveel with total TRV of 1CR? Or does it include investments also?
No investments. They banking is good, credit & debit cards, but I feel there’s nothing much to invest. They don’t have trading account, have a tie up with Motilal. I would rather trade with ICICI direct.
Same old answer - it all depends on your RM. As I said, 1 Cr Savings/Deposit at the group (family) level is good enough and that should be Ideally for 6 months so there you are right. However since I didn’t satisfy that, Private Mkting Head visited me and had a round of discussion post which he sought approval from country head.
Btw, why do you need Private relationship with IDFC…any specific benefit you are looking for? In my case if it hadn’t happened I would have been perfectly fine. I simply gave it a try and it worked.
The private debit is good but wouldn’t offer significant elevated benefit over wealth debit. The private CC is definitely good and they are ready to offer me FYF but I’m ok for the reverse - Ok to pay for the first year but not for the rest of the years. 😃

You mean to say they will offer you private cc fyf. Is it without voucher benefits or joining fee benefits?
When you get any Paid card, FYF/LTF you will not get any joining benefits. As you are not paying for the card, so no compensation.
No fee no joining benefits. FYF is actually beneficial for the bank, not for the customer
